OBIT DEHART, ELLEN HARMAN

DeHART, Ellen Harman, 86, of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 8, 1993. She was a member of Melrose Baptist Church and was the widow of Estel T. DeHart. She is survived by four nephews, Gene D. Whitlow, Roanoke, Austin Harman, Floyd, Harry T. Harman, Roanoke, William Weddle, Salem; three nieces, Elnora Markle, Franconia, Evelyn Janney, Frances Lee, both of Floyd; a number of grandnieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Floyd, at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. DeHart and family have expressed a desire that memorials be made to a favorite charity or to Melrose Baptist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
