OBIT WRAY, JAMES EDWARD
WRAY, James Edward, ("Ed"), 65, of Roanoke, passed away, Monday, August 9,
1993. He was retired from N&W Railroad; and served in the U.S. Navy during
World War II. He is survived by his wife, Clara Fisher Wray; two daughters,
Shelia Diane Farmer, Roanoke; Teresa Marie Lawrence, Salem; five stepsons, Ray
Fisher, Ricky Fisher, Michael Fisher, Jack Fisher, Mark Fisher all of Roanoke;
one brother, Claude Wray, Roanoke; two sisters, Edna English, Roanoke, Dorothy
Miller, Livingston, N.J.; two granddaughters; and a special grandson, Chance
Fisher; seven stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday,
August 12, 1993, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Jack Trent
officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call
Lotz Vinton Chapel.
