CLASSICAL PIANO CONCERT IN RADFORD

Classical pianist David Foley Jr. will be in concert Aug. 29, 7 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Third and Downey streets.

A native of Princeton, W.Va., the 18-year-old Foley is a student at the North Carolina School of the Arts. He was the winner of the West Virginia Music Teachers Association competition and a finalist in the Young Keyboard Artists and Bartok-Kabelevsky piano competition.

He also won the 1992 International Music Program Concerts competition and has toured in Europe to study and perform.

Foley also has performed with both the Greensboro and Durham symphonies.

There is no admission charge.
