BUNGEE-JUMP LIFT FALLS, KILLING 2 TEEN-AGERS

Two teen-agers plunged to their deaths Tuesday night from the 175-foot-tall Beach Bungee arch in Atlantic Beach when a cable holding a cage apparently failed.

The victims were identified as Michael Nash, 19, of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Zachary Stinikey, 17, of Indianapolis, said Atlantic Beach Police Chief David Allen.

Allen said the cable on the elevator device that takes bungee jumpers up the top of the arch broke and the two teen-agers fell 130 feet about 9:15 p.m.
