BARBOUR-WELLS

Charlene Renee Wells and Chad Emmett Barbour were married on July 17, 1993, at Forest Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. The reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Kim Vest, friend of the bride and groom, was the matron of honor. Christie Linz, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. The best man was Carl Barbour, Jr., father of the groom. The ushers were Paul Aronson, cousin of the bride, and Troy Kerns, cousin of the groom. Wedding music was provided by Helen Doran. Melissa Kerns, cousin of the groom, sang "I Will Be Here".

Charlene is the daughter of Gene and Peggy Wells, of Saxapahaw, North Carolina. She is a graduate of John T. Hoggard High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. She is employed as a bookkeeper at Drugs For Less in Atlanta, Georgia. Chad is the son of Carl and Shelby Barbour, of Roanoke. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and attends college at the Art Institute of Atlanta in Atlanta, Ga. He will graduate in December 1993. He is employed by Sports Town Sporting Goods in Atlanta, Ga. Following the wedding trip to Natural Bridge, Va., the couple will reside in Atlanta, Ga.
