HANSON-SEVEBECK

Kimberly Anne Sevebeck and Lieutenant Eric Taft Hanson, United States Navy, were married August 14, 1993 at the Mountain Lake gazebo. The Rev. Douglas Kittridge of Fredericksburg officiated the double-ring ceremony. The reception was at Mountain Lake Hotel.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown designed and made by her mother of organza and ivory satin embellished with Battenburg lace handmade by the bride's family and friends. She wore antique lace gloves and a satin hat with Batenburg lace trimmed with silk flowers and organza. She carried a cascading bouquet of ivory roses, delphinium, and ivy.

The maid of honor was Paige Powell and the best man was Joseph Seda. Eric Sevebeck was an usher. Wedding music was provided by Entracte. Vocalist was Melinda Barrett. Elizabeth Zelenka assisted with the programs and Heather Capuzzi and Sigrun Ortmann attended the guest book. Wedding coordinators were Carol Sevebeck and Rosemary Powley.

Kimberly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Sevebeck of Blacksburg. She graduated from Blacksburg High School and James Madison University and is a special education teacher for Stafford County schools.

Eric, son of Charles Hanson and Ann Cummings of St. Charles, Ill., graduated from St. Charles High School and the University of Illinois. He is stationed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren.

After a wedding trip to Greece, the couple will live in Fredericksburg.
