KEISTER-ARTRIP

Melissa Lynn Artrip and Colburn Tate Keister were married August 14, 1993, in Belmont Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Lanier officiating. The reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Samantha McMahan, best friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Ashley Artrip, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Carrie Martin and Erica Tolbert, cousins of bride, Valerie Dillon, cousin of groom, Evin King, friend. Flowergirls were Tori Nunley and Kellie Fuller, friends. The best man was W. D. Thacker, uncle of groom. Ushers were David Tolbert, cousin of bride, Scott Clark, Thomas Hall, John McMahan, friends, and Garland Niday, uncle of groom. Ringbearer was Evan Niday, cousin of groom. The candlelighters were Thomas Hall and John McMahan. Guestbook was attended by Michelle King. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Artrip of Roanoke. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Community Hospital. The groom is the son of Mrs. Sandra Blair of Salem. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Community Hospital. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding cruise to the Bahamas.
