Laura Leigh Meador and GlennDouglas Saunders were married July 10, 1993, in Windsor Hills Baptist Church with the Rev. C. Lawrence Dodson officiating. The maid of honor was MicheleBlackwell, friend of the bride. Thebridesmaids were Karen Ptaschek, friend of the bride, and Jennifer Kessinger,cousin of the bride. Flowergirl wasKayleigh Miles, daughter of the bride. The best man was David Saunders, brother of the groom. The ushers were DannySaunders and Gary Saunders, both brothers of the groom. The bride is the daughter of David and Elaine Meador of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is employed byGreenvale School. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Saunders of Vinton. He is a graduate of William Byrd High School and ECPI. He is employed by Kroger. The newlyweds are living in Vinton, after their wedding trip to Peaks of Otter and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
