SWEENEY-FLORA

Pamela Sue Flora and Mark Alan Sweeney were united in marriage August 14, 1993, at Boones Mill Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Robert Millerofficiated. The reception followed in the church fellowship complex.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Buford Flora of Boones Mill. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Sweeney of Roanoke.

The maid of honor was KathyCampbell. The bridesmaids were Tracey Bryant, Stephanie Mills, Melanie Nelson, and Melissa Nickell. Kelly Brown was the flowergirl.

Gary Sweeney, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Lynn Flora, brother of the bride, Richard Blankenship, Mike Jennings, Scott Law, and Steve Sizemore. Ringbearer was Drew Sweeney, nephew of the groom.

A program of wedding music was presented by pianist, Mary B. Arrington, and vocalists, Lee Flora, Ricky and Alison Brown. The guestbook was attended by Cindy Flora.

The bride is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Roanoke College. She is a first grade teacher in Franklin County. The groom is a graduate ofWilliam Byrd High School and theUniversity of Richmond.

The couple will reside in Rocky Mount.
