VAN COTT-MAXWELL

Kathryn Anne Maxwell and Kevin Enoch Van Cott were married August 14, 1993 in Bon Air United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dr. R. Franklin Gillis, Jr. The reception was held at Sheraton Park South. The maid of honor was Laura Lynn Maxwell, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Shannon Stacks, Elizabeth Smith, Stephanie & Stacey Muddiman. The flowergirl was Donna Grace Van Cott, sister of the groom. The ushers were Steve Donoho, Michael Maxwell, brother of the bride, Andrew and Theodore Van Cott, brothers of the groom. Ringbearer was Timothy Van Cott, brother of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Cornelia Van Cott, sister of the groom. The bride's gown was white satin with Alencon lace and a cathedral length train.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Maxwell of Richmond. She is a graduate of Radford University with a B.S. in Nursing and is employed by Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem. The bridegroom, son of Dr. and Mrs. T. Norman Van Cott of Selma, In., is a graduate of Purdue University and is working on his Doctorate in Chemical Engineering at Virginia Tech. The newlyweds will live in Blacksburg, Va.
