WIRT-TATE

Susan Elizabeth Tate and JamesDaniel Wirt were married August 7, 1993 in Colonial Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Branan G. Thompson, Jr. officiating. The reception was held at the Roanoke Airport Marriott.

The matron of honor was Jean Tate Gribble, sister of the bride, of Greenville, S.C. The flower girl was Kathlyn Gribble, niece of the bride, of Greenville, S.C.

The best man was Brian "B.R." Wirt, brother of the groom. Ushers were Tony Wirt, brother of the groom, Randy Smith and Mike Gilbert, friends of the groom.

The organist was Mrs. Cherie Wright and soloist was Ms. Sheila Mann.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Worrell Tate of Salem. She is a graduate of Salem High School and will attend the University of South Carolina, Columbia, S.C.

The bridegroom, son of Mrs. Geraldine Wirt of Roanoke and the late Robert Blaine Wirt, is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is currently stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, Columbia, S.C.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple will live in Columbia, S.C.
