OBIT MAXEY, LARRY JUNIOR
MAXEY, Larry Junior, 39, of Rocky Mount, died Saturday, August 14, 1993, at
the VA Hospital in Salem. He was born September 5, 1953, in Henry County, the
son of the late Alton and Christine Hall Maxey, and was also preceded in death
by his brother Jerry Maxey. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his
two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Barry Webb of Callaway and Loretta
and Jim McKeown of Glade Hill; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Curtis
and Wanda Maxey of Rocky Mount, Lonnie Maxey of Glade Hill and Alton Maxey Jr.
of Rocky Mount; one niece and one nephew. Funeral services will be conducted
at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 1993, at Lynch Chapel by the Rev. Paul Martin
with interment to follow in Franklin Memorial Park. V.F.W. Post 1264 will
conduct a military ceremony at the graveside. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m.
Monday at Lynch Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to
8:30 p.m.
