OBIT BOOTHE, CALVIN ABIJAH
BOOTHE, Calvin Abijah, 94, of Floyd, passed away Friday, August 13, 1993,
in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by a son, James A.
Boothe. He is survived by his wife, Weda P. Boothe of Floyd; one son and
daughter-in-law, Wayne A. and Mary P. Boothe of Floyd; four daughters and
sons-in-law, Margie B. and Thomas G. Wright of Salem, Dorothy B. and Frank P.
Proffitt of Christiansburg, Lois B. Radford of Troutville, Linda B. Harris of
Floyd; one sister, Alma B. Hurt of Roanoke; 14 grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 16, 1993, at
11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Thomas and the
Rev. Hebron Quesenberry officiating. Interment will be in Beaver Creek
Cemetery, Floyd. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home
where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
