OBIT PHILLIPS, JAMES SCOTT

PHILLIPS, James Scott, 23, of Narrows, died Friday evening, August 13, 1993, at his home. Born in Radford, he was a son of James Douglas and Brenda Ramos Phillips of Route 1, Narrows. He was a member of the 1988 graduating class of Giles High School and was employed by Hico, Inc. of Christiansburg. He is also survived by his twin brother, Douglas Keith Phillips, Narrows; two sisters, Jacqueline Hope and Tarah Lynn Phillips, both of Narrows; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucille R. Morris, Pearisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at the Jesus Church of the Clendennin Community near Narrows, with the Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Sunday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
