OBIT RUMBLEY, MARGARET TAPLEY

RUMBLEY, Margaret Tapley, 72, of Roanoke, died Saturday, August 14, 1993 in a local hospital. She was a member of Bonsack United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Edward R. Rumbley Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Edward R.(Buddy)III and Louise Rumbley, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Edward R.(Rykey) Rumbley IV, Amy M. Rumbley. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, August 16, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Rev. John Ashley and Rev. J. Landon Maddex officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Alzheimer's Disease, Roanoke/Salem Chapter (ADRDA) or the Bonsack United Methodist Church.
