OBIT ROBERTSON, BERTHA FLORENCE KELLY

ROBERTSON, Bertha Florence Kelly, 93, of Route 1, Narrows, passed away Saturday, August 14, 1993, at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. Born on February 16, 1900 in Giles County, she was a daughter of the late Brown and Virginia Morris Kelly. She was a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Cleveland Robertson; two sons, Fred and Russell Robertson; one daughter, Frances Robertson. Surviving are three sons, Raymond L. Robertson and Harlan C. Robertson, both of Narrows and Everett E. Robertson of Pembroke; four daughters, Lura R. Sexton of Narrows, Evelyn C. Stafford of Flint, Mich., Shirley L. Witt of Mt. Airy, N.C. and Reba A. Pruitt of Grundy; 31 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 16, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Riffe's Funeral Home Chapel, Narrows, with the Rev. Kimball Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service Sunday evening from 6 to 9.
