TREE FESTIVAL ORGANIZATIONS SOUGHT

Organizations are being invited to participate in a Festival of Christmas Trees sponsored by the Montgomery County Chapter of the American Red Cross. The event will be held at the New River Valley Mall Nov. 26-Dec. 5.

Admission to view the decorated trees is $2 for adults and $1 for children. A trophy and $100 prize will be awarded to the "Best of the Show" tree.

Spaces are limited and will be reserved on a first come basis for the following categories: business and industry; religious and civic groups; youth groups. If an organization would like to sponsor a tree decorated by other organization, or if your group is willing to decorate a tree but needs a sponsor, call the Red Cross office at 382-2361 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Details and applications are available from the Red Cross office at 175 W. Main St. and must be submitted by Sept. 30.
