IN SCHOOL

JEAN HOLBROOK, a business education teacher for Roanoke County schools, received a scholarship to attend the national Insurance Education Foundation workshop in July at the College of Insurance in New York City.

At the two-week workshop, secondary-school educators from across the United States learned about insurance and how to teach about it effectively. They earned graduate credit upon completion of the workshop.
