THE REV. BRAD R. BRAXTON, son Braxton of the Rev. James and Louise Braxton, has graduated from the University of Oxford in England, earning a master's of philosophy in theology degree.

Braxton attended Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship. He will attend Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., on a George W. Woodruff Fellowship, a full, four-year graduate scholarship to pursue a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies.
