JONES, IRA F., 80, OF VINTON, DIED SUNDAY,
JONES, Ira F., 80, of Vinton, died Sunday, August 22, 1993. He was born
September 27, 1912, a son of the late Lynch D. and Alpha Rader Jones, formerly
of Vinton. He served in World War II in the Army Air Force and retired from
the Kaiser Aluminum Company of Baltimore. Surviving are three sons and two
daughters-in-law, Lynn and Nancy Jones of Roanoke County, Jamie D. Jones of
Gallatin, Tenn. and Everett F. and Betty Jones of Vinton; eight grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11
a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 1993, at Mt. View Cemetery. Friends may call at
Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
