SHAVER, JOHN AMMEN, 42, OF SALEM, DIED SUNDAY,

SHAVER, John Ammen, 42, of Salem, died Sunday, August 22, 1993, at a local hospital following a brief illness. He was a former employee of Roanoke Electric Steel Corporation and was a member of Calvery United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Christopher Ammen Shaver of Roanoke; parents, Lewis E. and Geraldine (`Jerry`) Shaver of Salem; a sister and brother-in-law, Caren S. and Clinton A. Saunders of Roanoke; a fiancee, Kathy Yates of Salem. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 1993, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Rob Colwell officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
