NELSON, ARKAL

NELSON, Arkal, 66, of Pembroke, died Sunday morning, August 22, 1993, at his home. Born in Pembroke, he was a son of the late Sam and Louise Neal Nelson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Martin Nelson. He was a member of Calvary Christian Church in Pembroke. He is survived by one sister, Ola H. Lucas of Pembroke; and one brother, Eugene Nelson of Pembroke. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, with the Rev. Bobby Sutphin and the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.
