DINOSAURS IN YOUR BEDROOM?

The company that brought you "Jurassic Park" dinosaurs said Monday it is teaming with Nintendo Co., the world's largest video game company, to put lifelike prehistoric monsters in your home.

Nintendo and Silicon Graphics Inc., a pioneering computer graphics company responsible for special effects in "Jurassic Park" and "Terminator 2," are creating a game machine they said will change two-dimensional dinosaurs into lifelike, three-dimensional characters.

Users will feel they can reach out and touch the creatures - and vice versa - said Howard Lincoln, senior vice president of Nintendo of America Inc. The company said it will sell the machine for less than $250, and will have it and a package of three-dimensional games on sale by late 1995.

The game also will have a graphic processor, developed by Silicon Graphics, to provide specialized audio, video and graphics capabilities. - Washington Post
