VET SCHOOL GETS SCANNING EQUIPMENT

With a $750,000 grant from the State Council for Higher Education in Virginia's Equipment Trust, the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine's teaching hospital has acquired computed tomography, or CT scanning, and digital fluoroscopic equipment.

The new equipment permits detailed cross-section images of internal organs and soft tissues in two and three dimensional form.
