OBIT GREEN, THOMAS L., ("TOM")

GREEN, Thomas L., ("Tom"), 70, of 6251 Franklin Road, Roanoke, died Sunday, August 22, 1993, in a local hospital. He was a retired employee of N&W Railway. Mr. Green was a veteran of World War II; a life member of the DAV and a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lucy G. Green; son, Ronald L. Green, Floyd; daughter, Rebecca Weeks of Moneta; four grandchildren; half sisters, Mary Taylor, Mae Mick both of Roanoke; half brother, Jesse Pritt, Covington. Funeral services will conducted 12 noon Wednesday, August 25, 1993, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel by the Rev. William Dixon and Rev. Lee Carpenter. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke.
