OBIT BRATTON, MATTIE VIRGINIA

BRATTON, Mattie Virginia, 85, of Christiansburg, died early Monday, August 23, 1993, in the Montgomery Regional Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Eloise Heslip, Christiansburg; one son, Robert F. Bratton, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Lewis Heslip, Norman Heslip Jr., Debbie Akers, Dawn Wimmer; two great-grandchildren, Shannon Akers, Ethan Wimmer. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Raymond Kelley with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call anytime Tuesday at the funeral home, and the family will receive friends there from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
