OBIT JOHNSTON, ABBIE ELIZABETH

JOHNSTON, Abbie Elizabeth, 95, of 425 Magazine Street, Pulaski, died early Monday morning, August 23, 1993, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Pulaski County on January 2, 1898, and was the daughter of the late James R. Bond and Nancy Jane Bond Ritter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kunkle Johnston, and by two sons, Arnold W. Johnston and Donald L. Johnston. Surviving are four sons, Audrey P. Johnston, Pulaski, Frank M. Johnston, Bluefield, Va., Garnet R. Johnston, Gainsville, Va., Glen L. Johnston, Cape Coral, Fla.; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Aikens officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Tuesday at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. Pulaski. P
