OBIT COBURN, WILLIAM HAVEN
COBURN, William Haven, 60, of Princeton, W.Va., formerly of Maybeury, died
Sunday, August 22, 1993, in a Princeton hospital. He was born November 2, 1932
in Pocahontas, Va., the son of the late Robert Haven and Clarice Lively
Coburn. He retired as Manager of Computer Operations from National Steel
Corporation in Pittsburg after 27 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran
of the Korean Conflict. He had been a resident of Princeton since August of
1992, moving here from Pittsburg. Survivors include his wife, Shirley J.
Gilbert Coburn, Princeton; one son, Robert Randall Coburn, Kokomo, Ind.; one
daughter, Melinda Yvette Lombardo, Pittsburg, Pa.; three grandchildren, Dana
Lombardo, Nicholas Lombardo and Natalie Lombardo; two brothers, C. Curtis
Coburn of Charleston, W.Va. and Robert B. Coburn, LaJolla, Calif. He was a
nephew of Mrs. C. A. McClaugherty of Narrows, Va. Funeral services will be
conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at the George W. Seaver Funeral Home Chapel in
Princeton with Rev. Harry Christie officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview
Cemetery, Narrows, Va. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9
p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 214-15
Law & Commerce Bldg., Bluefield, W.Va. 24701.
