LOCAL MUSIC: FROM CLUB TO STEREO

You can find the music of area bands in the clubs, as well as in the racks of local record stores. Many groups have released tapes, LPs, EPs or CDs to get their sound out to the masses. One recording, "Local Zone Live," features 15 bands. The tape was released by Blacksburg's Squealer Music, a fledgling music label. Squealer released Local Zone Live II this year.
