PULASKI, RADFORD GAMES TO BE AIRED

Pulaski County and Radford high school football games will be on the airwaves again this season.

Pulaski County games will be on "CD Country," WRIQ-FM (101.7 fm). John Freeman and Dan Asbury will handle the play-by-play for the Cougars' games. Coach Joel Hicks' pregame show will begin the broadcast one hour before the kickoff.

Radford games will be on WRAD-AM (1460 am). The broadcast team of Paul Sexton and Bob Thomas return to call the Bobcats' games. Coverage begins 20 minutes before kickoff with the pregame show.

Coverage will begin Saturday with broadcasts from the Touchdown Classic preseason jamboree hosted by Pulaski County. The half-games played by both the Cougars and the Bobcats as well as updates on all the scrimmages will be broadcast on both stations.
