OBIT-DUDLEY, RAYMOND F., ("PETE")
DUDLEY, Raymond F., ("Pete"), 72, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, August 25,
1993. He was retired from the U.S. Department of Labor as Assistant Area
Director for Southwest Virginia, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Dudley was also a member of Lodge 197 B.P.O.E. and a member of Federal
Retirees and Employees Association and the American Association of Retired
People. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Surviving is his
wife, Myrtle C. Dudley, Roanoke; a daughter, Judy D. Agee and husband, William
Michael Agee; one grandson, Michael Randolph Agee, all of Greensboro, N.C.;
one brother, Henry L. Dudley Jr., and one sister, Dorothy D. Zeh, both of
Rocky Mount; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at Oakey's South
Chapel, 11 a.m. Saturday. Dr. Harry Y. Gamble will officiate. Interment will
follow in Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Friends may
call at Oakey's South Chapel after 12 noon Friday, where the family will
receive friends from 4 to 6pm.
