OBIT-HOWARD, BEN GILLIAM JR., ("BENGIE")

HOWARD, Ben Gilliam Jr., ("Bengie"), 45, of Fairfax, died Monday, August 23, 1993, in the VA. Medical Center, Washington, D.C. He was born June 5, 1948, in Lexington, the son of Ben G. Howard Sr. and Dorothy Hunt Howard. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. In addition to his parents of Fairfax, he is survived by two sisters, Martha Sue Canard and Dorothy Coberston, both of Manassas; one brother, Edwin W. Howard, Chicago, Ill. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 1993 at the Lomax Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Lisa Wilson. Interment will be at Timber Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
