OBIT-TOMLINSON, JAMES EDWARD

TOMLINSON, James Edward, 46, of Richmond, formerly of Christiansburg, died Sunday, August 22, 1993, in Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Tomlinson; two sons, Jeffery Tomlinson, Zackary Tomlinson; a daughter, Colleen Tomlinson, all of Richmond; his parents, Samuel J. and Rosie M. Tomlinson of Christiansburg; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma T. and Wilson A. Carroll, Christiansburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Samuel J. Jr. and Carol Tomlinson of Roanoke, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the gravesite in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg, conducted by the Rev. Richard H. Horne. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24073. The family will receive friends at anytime at the home of his parents, 95 Overland Drive in Christiansburg. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne.
