Jonathan D. Coleman, 16, and Jason E. Talbert, 17, had been scheduled for trial this week in the shooting death of 33-year-old Gina Rene Anderson at her home in Glade Spring on Nov. 11.
The defense sought more time to prepare its case. The prosecution has said it intends to prove that Anderson was killed in a struggle with one of the boys when they tried to take the keys to steal her car.
