OBIT-JAMES, ROBERT JESSIE JR.

JAMES, Robert Jessie Jr., 68, of Salem, passed away Friday, August 27, 1993. He was retired from General Electric. He is survived by his wife, Jean B. James; a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn R. and Anne Bowe, Salem; a daughter, Bonnie B. Cobb, Roanoke; granddaughter, Ashley K. Bowe, Salem; grandsons, John P. Cobb Jr., Melbourne Beach, Fla., Yancey E. Cobb, Roanoke; brother, Charles James, South Hill; sister, Helen Burton, Norlina, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Lotz Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Howell Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
