FINNEY, Maggie Lee Patterson, 71, of Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, August 25, 1993. She is survived by her husband, George Finney, Bassett; one son, Wyndell Patterson, San Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Amie Via, Suitland, Md.; one brother, Dan Smith, Rocky Mount; two grandsons, Jason and Christopher Patterson, both of Rocky Mount; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bonita Patterson, Rocky Mount; a devoted niece, Mrs. Celeste Smith, Rocky Mount; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be conducted Sunday 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. R.D. Wade officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. Interment in the Patterson family cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Stanfield Mortuary Service.
