ATHA-KEEN

Kari Lynn Keen and Scott Douglas Atha were united in marriage on July 17, 1993 in Belview United Methodist Church. The officiating clergyman was Grayson C. Lilly. The reception followed at the Church.

Sharon Francis, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Sharon Atha, sister of the groom; and Dena Gregory, friend of the bride. Danielle Leigh Ashton Richardson, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl. Russel Cleaver, friend of the groom, served as best man. The ushers were James Atha, cousin of the groom; and Jamie Keen, brother of the bride. Ryan Brewer, cousin of the groom, was the ringbearer. Carol Ware was the guestbook attendant.

Kari is the daughter of Nora B. and Edward Keen, Jr. of Christiansburg. She is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and is attending Virginia Tech where she is working toward a degree in Chemistry. She is employed by Virginia Tech. Scott is the son of Alberta and Charles Atha, II of Occoquan. He is a graduate of Woodbridge High School and is attending Virginia Tech where he is working toward a degree in Computer Science. He is employed by Management Systems Laboratories.

Following their wedding trip to Disney World, the newlyweds reside in Blacksburg.
