OBIT EUBANK, HELEN ELIZABETH WISEMAN
EUBANK, Helen Elizabeth Wiseman, 73, of Daleville, passed away Monday,
August 30, 1993. She was the beloved widow of Paul Delarue Eubank. Mrs. Eubank
was a retired employee of Cash Building Supply in Troutville. She was a 50
year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Williamson Road Chapter #119, a
member of the Women of the Moose, Lodge #284, a member of Northview United
Methodist Church, served on the Roanoke Valley Safety Council, served numerous
years as a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts of America, and was an employee of
Distinguished Service with the War Department during World War II. Surviving
are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Donald E. and Sandra R. Eubank,
Bruce M. and Debbie B. Eubank, all of Roanoke, Paul K. and Cyndy M. Eubank,
Blue Ridge, Gary R. Eubank, Daleville; eight grandchildren, Donald E. Eubank
II, Sgt. U.S. Army, Fort Ord, Calif., Jeffrey W. Eubank, Petty Officer U.S.
Navy, Oceana NAS, Va. Beach, Regina L. Eubank, Micheal P. and Mark A. Eubank,
all of Roanoke, Sarah R. Eubank, Blue Ridge, Megan D. and Brian S. Eubank,
Rome, Georgia; two great-grandsons, Matthew K. Eubank, Fort Ord, Calif., and
Joshua J. Eubank, Oceana NAS, Va. Beach; five brothers and their wives, Walter
S. Wiseman and Jean, Brookville, Pa., Charles E. Wiseman and Dorothy,
Leesburg, Va., Maurice A. Wiseman and Joann, Danville, Va., Raymond E. Wiseman
and Lou, Oak Hill, W.Va., Glenn W. Wiseman and Sadie, Salem, Va.; two sisters
and their husbands, Ann W. Arrington and Bill, Fayetteville, N.C., Charlotte
W. All and Lacy, Salem, Va.; a number of nieces, nephews and a devoted friend,
Bertha Spicer, Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Thursday, September 2, 1993, from Oakey's North Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Carl
E. Savage officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. If
desired, memorials may be made to the Troutville Rescue Squad (Troutville, Va.
24175). Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel,
where the family will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 1993, with
an Eastern Star Service conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday; friends are invited.
