OBIT ROBERTSON, STEWART THRASHER

ROBERTSON, Stewart Thrasher, 68, of Fincastle, died Monday, August 30, 1993. He was a lifelong member of the Fincastle United Methodist Church, a member and Past Master of the Catawba Masonic Lodge #342, A.F.&A.M. He is survived by his wife, Fern C. Robertson, Fincastle; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Roy Lane, Charlottesville; three nephews, David Lane, Jim Lane, and Allen Robertson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2 p.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Michael Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in the Godwin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to make donations, please consider the Fincastle Rescue Squad or the Fincastle United Methodist Church Organ Fund.
