OBIT NELMS, WILLIAM HENRY

NELMS, William Henry, of Moneta, died Monday, August 30, 1993 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Diane Nelms; three sons, Lawrence Nelms of Dunbar, N.C., Elridge Nelms of Huddleston, Jeremry Nelms of Bedford; two daughters, Delores Lee of Huddleston, Eleanor Martin of Durham, N.C.; seven brothers; one sister; six sisters-in-law; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 1993, at the Bedford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Bedford County. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
