OBIT CONNER, ALBERT L.

CONNER, Albert L. 47, of Bent Mountain, died Wednesday, September 1, 1993, at his home. Mr. Conner was a truck driver with 25 years of service; last working for Charles Crews & Son. He is survived by his wife, Harlene Hale Conner, Bent Mountain; five daughters, Angelia Conner, Roanoke, Delana Bach, Austin, Texas, Robbin Palmero, Bent Mountain, Candy Custer, Roanoke County, Andrea Rather, Covington; two sons, Robert Conner, Roanoke and Max Jones II, Bent Mountain; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Conner, Roanoke County, Ann Conner, Decater, Ala.; three brothers, Walter (Poncho) Conner, Roanoke, Gary and Mark Conner both of Bent Mountain. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 3, 1993, with the Rev. Virgil N. McHone officiating. Interment will be follow in Restvale Cemetery, Floyd County. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at Oakey's South Chapel.
