OBIT MINICHAN, JANE TILGHMAN

MINICHAN, Jane Tilghman, 84, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, August 31, 1993, in a local hospital. She was the widow of Robert N. Minichan, a member of Raleigh Court United Methodist Church, a member of the Roanoke Parlimentarian Club, a former member of the Thursday Morning Music Club, and a member of Hillandale Garden Club. Surviving are a sister, Cornelia T. Edmonds; one brother, William T. Tilghman; and one sister-in-law, Mary Minichan, one brother-in-law, David P. Minichan Sr., all of Roanoke; also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, 1 p.m. Thursday, with Dr. Gregory L. Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's South Chapel.
