OBIT CLOUD, GARNELL MASON

CLOUD, Garnell Mason, 71, of Fancy Gap, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 1993, at Duke University Hospital. He was born in Carroll County, a son of Preston C. Cloud and Nettie Sowers Cloud. Mr. Cloud is survived by his wife, Lois Beamer Cloud; sons, Robert Cloud, Hillsville, Perry M. Cloud, Mt. Airy, N.C.; mother, Nettie Sowers Cloud, Fancy Gap; brother, Rufus Cloud, Hillsville; sisters, Mrs. Jack (Inez) Bowman, Hillsville; Mrs. Winfred (Ruby) Culler, Mt. Airy, N.C.; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 1993, at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, with the Rev. Layne Pennington officiating. Burial will be in the Bluemont Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted at the graveside by Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. Masonic Rites will be conducted by Hillsville Masonic Lodge 193.
