OBIT-RILEY, BEULAH HENDERSON

RILEY, Beulah Henderson, 77, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, September 1, 1993 at Community Hospital in Roanoke, Va. Her parents were the late Herbert M. and Osceola Ferguson Henderson. A registered nurse, graduate of St. Luke's Hospital, Bluefield W. Va., she practiced nursing in many hospitals in Washington, D.C., Richmond, and Roanoke. She was a member of Nurse's Association. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) where she held many positions in various auxiliaries. She had a great love for song and music, played the piano and sang. Her smile and sense of humor were great assets and her thoughtful consideration appreciated by many. She was predeceased by a son, Gregory Keith Riley, four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Harold G. Riley; three sons, Brent C. Riley, Roanoke, Paige H. Riley, Gloucester, H. Scott Riley, Orleans, Mass.; two daughters, Suzanne R. Mullins, Snellville, Ga. and Charlotte R. Knight, Orem, Utah; one brother, Paul E. Henderson, Richmond; four sisters, Mrs. Dee W.(Hazel) Pincock, Mrs. Vearl G. (Betty) McBride and Mrs. H. Paul (Nadine) Wiemer, all of Roanoke, and Mrs. Ray D. (Belva) Engberson, Hyattsville, Md.; twelve grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 6, 1993 at the L.D.S. Chapel on Cotton Hill Rd. (Off US. 221 S.) Interment will be in the Ferguson Family Cemetery, Ivy Mtn. Dr., Roanoke County. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South, Brambleton Ave., Friday, 7 to 9 p.m, and Sat. 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
