NRCC FOUNDATION REACHES $1 MILLION

The New River Community College Educational Foundation has reached the $1 million mark for the first time. A recent fund-raising effort took in more than $152,500 in donations, exceeding the campaign's goals by more than 35 percent.

"We're thrilled to reach this important milestone," the foundation's executive director, Mark Rowh, said in a statement.
