OBIT-KNICK, SHARON POWELL

KNICK, Sharon Powell, 27, of Glasgow, died Thursday, September 2, 1993, in Amherst County, as a result of an automobile accident. Born January 17, 1966 in Lexington, she was the daughter of Marvin Jim Powell of Natural Bridge Station and the late Barbara Watkins Powell. She was employed at First Brands Manufacturing of Lynchburg. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Harold Edward Knick, Glasgow; one son, Christopher Scott Knick, of the home; three daughters, Jennifer Brooke Knick, Staci Elaine Powell, and Tiffany LeAnn Knick, all of the home; two sisters, Karen Powell, Lexington, Tracy Powell, Natural Bridge Station; one brother, Marvin D. Powell, Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 1993 at the Faith Baptist Church in Arnold's Valley, with Rev. Nathan Miller and the Rev. Wyatt Mayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
