OBIT-FERGUSON, ELIZABETH SHIPLEY

FERGUSON, Elizabeth Shipley, of Chattanooga, Tenn., died Friday, September 3, 1993, in a Chattanooga, Tenn. nursing home. She was a native of Jonesboro, Tenn., and a longtime resident of Salem. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William H. Ferguson. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Ferguson Bandy, Trenton, Ga., Mrs. Marie Ferguson Neu, Charlotte, N.C., Miss Linda Lee Ferguson, Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. John Smith officiating. Interment will be in Jonesboro, Tenn. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
