Karen Rose Nelson and Ronald Peyton Alley were united in marriage September
4, 1993, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Pulaski, Va., with the Rev.
Jack L. Stevens officiating. The receptionfollowed in the church fellowship
hall. The maid of honor was Rhonda Carter, friend of the bride, of Fairfax,
Va. The best man was Robert Williams, friend of the groom, of Roanoke. The
flowergirl was Ashley Renee Dunford, niece of the bride. Dana Dunford, sister
of the bride, was the guestbook attendant. The bride is the daughter of Ms.
Dora Nelson of Dublin, and Mr. Cecil Nelson of Max Meadows. She is a graduate
of Pulaski County High School and Radford University. She is employed by
Williamsburg Food Brokers. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Alley
of Pulaski. He is a graduate ofPulaski County High School and attended
Virginia Tech. He is employed by Mutual of Omaha. Following their wedding trip
to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Roanoke.
