Elders of the Dayspring Christian Community in Blacksburg. The maid of honor
was Cathryn L. Ferguson, best friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were
Kimberly G. Johnson and Melissa D. Murray, friends of the bride. Flowergirl
wasRachel Bernick, friend of the bride. The best man was G. Robert Chernault,
best friend of the groom. The ushers were Ronnie G. Alcorn and Richard A.
Carr, friends of the groom, and Rickie L. Pond, brother of the bride.
Ringbearer was Stephen Davidson, nephew of the groom. The guestbook was
attended by Ruby Pond, sister-in-law of the bride. The bride is a daughter of
Richard and Elaine Pond, Sr., of Roanoke. The bridegroom is a son of Dr.
Houston and Billie Couch, of Blacksburg. After the wedding trip to Historic
Williamsburg, Va., the newlyweds will reside in Appomattox.
