BINGEMAN-HALE

Lara Lynn Hale and Gerald Francis Bingeman, Jr., were married September 4, 1993, at Virginia Military Institute's Cadet Chapel, Jackson Memorial Hall, Lexington, Virginia. Colonel Charles Caudill officiated. The reception was held in Virginia Military Institute's Moody Hall. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

The maid of honor was Danielle Bingeman, sister fo the groom of Roanoke. The bridesmaids were Dawn Vess, cousin of the bride, of Roanoke, Kathy Ratliff of Bluefield, West Virginia, Heidi Tomlinson of Fredericksburg, and Anita Stinson of Roanoke, all friends of the bride.

The best man was Douglas Cunningham, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Cleve Fisher of Roanoke, Eric Eversole of Chesapeake, Richard Maxey of Roanoke, and Scott Coleman of Temple, Texas, all friends of the groom

The members of the Saber Arch were Cadet Chad Correll, Cadet Chris Jones, Cadet Brian Mitchell, Cadet Jethro Piland, Cadet Chris Gorman, Cadet Samuel Nolan, Cadet Matt Nichols, and Cadet Travis George, all friends of the groom.

The harpist was Elizabeth DeChent of Roanoke. The soloist was Rebecca Mullins of Atlanta, Georgia, and the guestbook was attended by Mrs. Denise Damewood, both friends of the bride. Mrs. Linda Gregory was the wedding coordinator.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neal G. Hale of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Brooks Fashions and Scott's Hallmark.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald F. Bingeman of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and the Virginia Military Institute. He is employed by Roanoke City.

After the reception, the couple departed Virginia Military Institute's post in a beautiful horse drawn carriage and spent their honeymoon in the Bahamas. The couple will live in Roanoke.
